All Foundry pieces are handmade. Processing times vary depending on the piece and current order volume.
► Made-to-order pieces: typically ship within 7–14 business days
► Ready-to-ship pieces: ship within 2–3 business days
Estimated timelines are listed on individual product pages when applicable.
Orders are shipped via USPS priority mail with tracking provided once your order ships.
Foundry is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, or incorrect shipping information provided at checkout.
Once an order has shipped, it is considered in the care of the carrier.
If your package appears lost or delayed, please reach out — I’ll help however I can.
Because each piece is handmade, returns are not accepted unless the item arrives damaged or defective.
Exchanges may be considered on a case-by-case basis. If you believe an exchange is necessary, please contact me within 3 days of delivery.
Items must be:
► Unworn
► In original condition
► Returned with original packaging
Custom, personalized, and made-to-order pieces are final sale.
Custom work is one of the most meaningful parts of Foundry — and it requires clarity on both sides.
► Custom pieces are final sale
► Minor variations are part of the handmade process and are not considered defects
► Timeline estimates will be discussed and confirmed before work begins
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to initiate all custom work.
This deposit covers materials and dedicated studio time. The remaining balance is due before your piece ships.
Once work has started, custom orders cannot be canceled.
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, unless the item is custom or made-to-order and production has already begun.
After 24 hours, cancellations are not guaranteed.
Foundry jewelry is made to be worn — but cared for.
To extend the life of your piece:
► Remove before swimming, showering, or sleeping
► Avoid contact with harsh chemicals, perfumes, and lotions
► Store in a dry place when not in use
At the same time, regular wear is part of proper care. The natural oils in your skin help keep sterling silver from dulling, slowing the aging process and maintaining its finish.
Natural patina and subtle wear are part of the story of handmade jewelry — a record of time, movement, and use.
Many Foundry pieces use natural stones and materials. Variations in color, texture, and pattern are expected and celebrated. No two pieces will ever be exactly alike.
If your piece needs repair or adjustment, please reach out.
► Repairs are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may involve a fee depending on the situation.
Most Foundry rings are bezel set. Because of this construction, standard resizing is not offered. Resizing bezel-set rings often requires rebuilding the ring entirely, which can compromise both the stone and the original design.
In some cases, rings may be sized up by approximately half a size through textural or structural adjustments to the band. This method intentionally alters the surface of the ring and is considered a design modification rather than a resize.
► Any adjustments are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may not be possible for all designs.
For this reason, accurate sizing at the time of purchase is strongly recommended.
Full ring rebuilds may be considered in rare cases and will be quoted separately. Rebuilds are treated as new custom work and are not guaranteed.
